Courier Back Battery Program
Recycling spent sealed cell batteries and electronics
For collection of small sealed cell batteries, we offer our Courier Back Battery Program.
This program is ideal for a wide range of facilities from manufacturing plants to offices and hospitals. The program is completely turn-key and compliant with all Canadian and US transportation and environmental regulations.
Upon receipt of your order form, Raw Materials Company will send you the number of collection boxes and pails requested. The freight for the full boxes/pails is prepaid by RMC via ARS (automatic return service). The containers are clearly and colourfully marked for battery recycling and contain health and safety information regarding the handling of sealed cell batteries.
THE FEE INCLUDES:
- Delivery of container and collections bin
- Return freight by courier
- Sorting fee
- All applicable taxes
Approximately 90 days after the return of your box, you will receive a Certificate of Liability Release/Recycling to serve as notification that ownership of the waste has been legally transferred to RMC.
Our large shipping container is capable of holding a quantity of up to 35 kilograms (80 lbs) of sealed cell batteries, depending on cell types and sizes.
Once container is full, call our toll free number 1(888) 937-3382 (number is printed on the box/pail) and notify us that you have an ARS package for pickup.
