RMC is permitted (MOE) to process all battery types - Certificate of Approval #A120316
RMC processes the following waste characteristics on site: Class 8, and Class 9 Materials . These materials include lead and mercury. RMC has extensive engineering controls and provides state of the art personal protective equipment along with carefully supervised health and safety programs to ensure the protection of all our employees.
RMC has 18 years experience in dealing with the following Ministry of Labor designated substances: Mercury, Lead, and Asbestos.
RMC is permitted to process by the Ministry of Environment to process solid and liquid wastes including, all battery types, lead bearing wastes i.e. (electronics, firing range materials, scrap, wire, coatings etc.), Mercury Bearing Wastes (Lamps, Bulbs, Switches, Dental Amalgams etc.).
RMC also handles liquid wastes such as elemental mercury and battery electrolytes for recycling.
