Municipal Battery Recycling

We can help you divert harmful battery waste from your municipal landfill today!

Environmental 360 Solutions (E360S) is a registered battery hauler and processor with the Resource Productivity & Recovery Authority (RPRA) under Ontario Regulation 30/20. 

For other waste battery types, please contact us for a quotation.

Municipal Hazardous & Special Waste Site

E360S can recycle all battery types collected at your Municipal Hazardous & Special Waste site, in addition to other lead and mercury bearing wastes such as fluorescent lamps and electronic waste.

Reporting

E360S can provide custom reporting and issue Certificates of Recycling for all waste shipments received at E360S within 90 days of shipment.

Scheduled or On Call Pickup

Whatever your needs, we can accommodate you. Our clients can be placed on a regular pickup schedule or call as needed.

Curbside Battery Recycling Program

We offer innovative collection options like our successful Curbside Battery Recycling Program that is designed to piggyback on your existing municipal waste program.

Public Facing Battery Recycling

We will assist you with setup of public facing collection sites at municipal, retail and non-profit locations in your community. Public facing recycling points are for residents of Ontario to recycle non-embedded primary and rechargeable batteries weighing less than 5 kilograms. 

We will provide each site with appropriate battery recycling containers suited to their location.

Convenient Recycling Programs for Generators

We can help you setup battery recycling programs at schools and other generators including multi-residential buildings, hospitals, factories, offices and hotels.

We also offer lamp and bulb recycling for large and small volume customers. We can provide pickup on schedule or on call as needed. A Waste Recycling Certificates is provided with every shipment.

Promotion

Need help promoting your program? We can provide you with a variety of print and electronic promotional materials to help you engage your community to encourage participation.

Most of the batteries that we use everyday do not require any special preparation before recycling, however we do recommend that precautionary measures be taken when recycling certain types of batteries to reduce any risk of short-circuit.
