IMS operates two metal recycling yards, located at each end of the Niagara Peninsula, at Port Colborne and St. Catharines. Each facility receives metal byproducts and obsolete metal items of most every type and size. Automobiles, appliances, pipe, beams, utensils, machinery, equipment, etc., are all received and processed to consumer specifications. Most non-ferrous metals are also received at IMS yards including copper, radiators, batteries, aluminum, stainless alloys, brass, etc. Precious metals from catalytic converters, including rhodium, paladium & platinum and gold & silver recovery from electronics, batteries & other devices.
IMS operates a 1000 ton guillotine shear, hydraulic mobile baler, portable shears, granulators, locomotive cranes (over 2000 feet rail spur lines), heavy lift cranes, hydraulic cranes, loaders & lift trucks.
IMS also operates certified truck scales, rail scale, platform scales, each certified quarterly by an ISO 9001 Certified service company. IMS' cranes are certified annually by a qualified Ontario Engineering firm.
IMS also operates a fleet of lugger and rolloff trucks, dump trailers, vans, environmental and service vehicles.

Monday to Friday - 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
Saturday - 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.
